Author Visits

For twenty-two years, in education, I have touched the lives of hundreds of students. My life has now been touched and changed by our daughter.  After Tessa's diagnosis, I knew I had to share with others and tell our story.  I know her life will be different and that is okay. 

My passion and drive is to spread awareness and to help others understand that being different is special. My goal is to teach children about the difference in others, especially those with different ables and needs. I hope to bring awareness of the rare genetic disorder - FOXG1 Syndrome, and to help other children, parents and families understand what a rare disease looks like and how a family works together to help their child and each other.
